Key personnel Managing Director – Jon Browne
Since first joining NCR in 1979 Jon has worked in every aspect of IT.
He founded IBIS in 1988 and despite managing the company he still finds
time for project work with many of our customers He is currently the
Technical Design Consultant for Leeds Learning Network. Previously he has
worked on major projects for amongst others; The BBC, Opera North, Harvey
Nash, BT and the Arcadia group
Senior Consultant - Bill Duff
Bill Duff has been a senior member of the IBIS team for eight years, and is a respected
Microsoft and Novell specialist. He has worked on Microsoft solutions for the past four years,
both in conjunction with Novell, and standalone. Through IBIS, Bill has worked as an Interim Operations
Manager for a major ladies clothing manufacturer and has been involved in the Yorkshire and
Humberside Broadband Consortium, bringing his organisational skills to the rationalisation
of 12 Local Education Authorities. Recently, Bill has been responsible for Project Managing
major projects with our clients and ensuring that tasks as diverse as Upgrades, Technology Refreshes
and Office moves are completed with the minimum disruption to our clients business. One of
these projects involved upgrading a Windows NT and Novell system to the latest Microsoft Platforms
including Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003 and SQL for one 100 fastest growing companies in the UK.
Business Development Manager - Darren J Brown
Darren has worked in IT since 1984, whilst having a strong business focus;
Darren has also taught the MCSe curriculum. He has a strong IT background working
for organisations such as Computer Associates and Minolta. Darren is responsible for
building relationships with current and new clients and advising on solutions from our
portfolio of products and services that will help clients to have a competitive advantage
or to solve any IT related problems.
Resources Manager - Victoria Duffield
After 15 years involvement in generalist HR management within
manufacturing and engineering sectors, CIPD member Vicki undertook a
sabbatical of worldwide travel before joining IBIS Her role
encompasses resourcing, management and development of the technical team,
as well as ensuring the smooth running of many of the business' day to
day activities
