Founded in 1988, IBIS Business Consultants Ltd has grown steadily using
its expertise in consultancy, data security, systems support, training and
contractor services With turnover in excess of £1 million, a Microsoft
Certified Partner since 1998, and recognised as an Investor in People,
IBIS has the skilled people and resources able to help you develop your IT
systems and services, including bespoke software, and to support and protect
all the elements of your network infrastructure Since the acquisition of
the Computer Solutions (Leeds) Ltd. business in 2002 we can now boast a
complete portfolio of services that can offer 'cradle to grave' solutions to
its client base, many of which are major blue chip organisations Founded
by Jon Browne, to supply expertise in Microcomputer to Mainframe
connectivity technologies. Jon already had over ten years experience in the
computing industry, both with large mainframe vendors such as IBM and NCR,
and six years experience of the emerging microcomputer market By 1990 IBIS
Business Consultants Ltd had moved into microcomputer networking, primarily
using Novell 3.1x. This was put to good use during a four year offshore oil
project, where the IBIS skill set of quality professionalism was used to the
full Over the years the Company has grown in personnel numbers and skills,
and in the year 2001-2002 achieved turnover of over a million pounds. We
have also recognised the growing acceptance of Microsoft NT and have changed
the Company emphasis, so whilst we still enjoy a high level of expertise in
Novell Netware, we have also achieved Microsoft Certified Partner status for
the last five years in recognition of our strong Microsoft skill sets IBIS Business Consultants Ltd have provided both technical and project
management skills for major rollouts, including the conversion of the CCTA,
the UK Government Centre for Information Systems, from Novell 3.1x to Novell
4.11. IBIS provided both project management and the technical skills for a
3000 desktop rollout for The Department of Health in Leeds with a team of
four people. A team of six IBIS designers has also been responsible for the
design and implementation of the new BBC Corporate wide desktop, V2.1, which
has now been installed on over 20,000 desktops. We were responsible for the
network design and installation for 'Top Shop' Oxford Circus, the worlds
largest fashion store, and have provided significant support resources for
both ABB and Centrica across the UK throughout 2001 and 2002 We provide
top quality consultants in all regions of the UK for a variety of project
work, and also maintain a strong presence in the contract marketplace |
