Objectives
The computer network within the school was not functioning
as well as expected causing frustration for members of staff and pupils
alike. One of the symptoms of the problem was the length of time it took for
users to logon at the start of lessons. The school’s own ICT technicians,
capable though they were, were unable to resolve the issues and were
constantly under pressure which left them with no time to meet other
requests.
Solution
Allerton High commissioned IBIS to investigate the problem
and make recommendations and perform amendments and fixes where appropriate.
Results
The Allerton High network now runs much more smoothly with
much less problems. User can logon quickly and easily. The ICT team at
Allerton now have more time to manage the systems in an orderly way |
